Dr. Bayrak is the founder and the medical director of LA IVF, group of fertility clinics in Southern California, and one of the most highly regarded fertility specialists in the US and internationally. Born in Northampton, Massachusetts, he grew up in the Midwest and outside the US, and lived in Boston and New York during medical school and training years. After medical school, Dr. Bayrak carried out research in reproductive medicine focusing on initiation of egg growth and delaying menopause at the State University of New York. Based on his original research as an intern, he won the “Prize Paper” of The Brooklyn Gynecological Society. After his research experience, he completed a four years residency program in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the New York Methodist Hospital – The Weill Cornell Medical College in New York. He was selected as “Best Resident” by the Physicians Alumni Association and in the subsequent year awarded with the “Special Excellence in Endoscopic Procedures Award” for his advanced skills in laparoscopic and hysteroscopic procedures.
