An immature egg can turn into a live birth!
An immature egg has not completed cell division yet and, therefore, has 46 chromosomes, unlike a mature egg, which has 23 chromosomes. Immature eggs will turn into mature eggs in the lab by culturing them.
Once they are mature eggs, they can be fertilized, developed, and implanted just like a normal embryo that has originated from a mature egg.
