FERTILITY PRESERVATION
Fertility preservation is the option of preserving someone’s ability to procreate in the future due to the risk of losing that potential. The current available options include sperm freezing, as well as embryo freezing and egg freezing. Ovarian tissue freezing is experimental at this time, with a very small number of live births reported. We do offer egg freezing with genetic screening of eggs at the time of freezing. Dr. Bayrak reported the first live birth from a frozen egg that was genetically screened using the CGH technology in Southern California.
